We’ve earned our stripes over the years as a family brewer and wholesaler. We never fail to put quality and relationships first, and naturally we’ve inherited a deep knowledge of brewing and the pub trade. But it’s not all about the beer; we offer our free trade customers a complete range of drinks products to support their businesses.

Beers, lagers and ciders

Where do we start! We offer the full range of Batemans cask beers, including our permanently listed Classics and rotating monthly specials, plus plenty of bottled beers to complete the set.

We can also supply you with your other beer requirements. We have permanent and guest cask and keg beers, and premium and standard lagers – crafted by fine brewers across the UK and beyond, from Fullers and Timothy Taylor to Brewdog and Shipyard.

As for ciders, we have Aspalls, Thatchers and Bulmers amongst others, with both keg and ‘bag in box’ available. Many of our cider suppliers are family companies with small orchards.

Wines

As the popularity of wine continues to grow, catering for every taste and pocket is ever more important. We can stock your cellar with a range of grapes and grades, from entry level through to mid-range and premium wine; with whites, reds, rosés and sparkling wines from around the world, in bottled, draught and single-serve options.

We have our own wine merchants J.E.Ridlington, which has been in the family for over 100 years and we source our own wines for our J.E.Ridlington Personally Selected range.

We can even help you match your wines to your food menu, giving your customers the best possible accompaniment to their lunch or dinner.

As well as training from our WSET qualified wine managers, we can offer wine list printing and tastings, along with much more added value support.

Spirits, mixers and soft drinks

There’s been tremendous growth in spirits over the last few years, fuelled by innovations in gin and cocktails and the trend for premiumisation in pretty much every category.

At Batemans we can give you access to the full range of premium and standard spirits, with big brands in all categories as well as the small, more craft orientated distillers. Plus we have famous names in liqueurs, ready-made cocktails, tequila, aperitifs, port and sherry, vermouths, shots and mixers, and much more.

We also offer a wide choice of soft drinks and mixers; from Fever Tree to Fentimans and Coca Cola to Britvic.
