We’re pleased as punch to announce our very first Salem Brew Co Gold Award for the delicious Dark Fruits Porter! Awarded at CAMRA’s Peterborough Beer Festival Dark Fruits Porter was awarded Gold in the Speciality Beer category by a variety of well qualified judges. Stuart Bateman, Managing Director of Batemans Brewery said: “We’re absolutely delighted with this award. It is great to know that the fruits of our labour have been recognised. Scott and the team in the Brewery are thrilled to have won the top spot for one of our innovative Salem Brew Co craft beers.”

This is achieved due to the brewing method where natural puréed black fruits (such as blackberries and blackcurrants) are added to the beer at conditioning stage.
