Rewarding success event enjoyed by all

Batemans Rewarding Success annual event is a much-anticipated occasion. It allows us to recognise the efforts and contribution all our licensees make. After enjoying some food and drink, attentions turn to the awards – it’s like the Oscars of Profit Partnership!

Categories vary and try to recognise the many facets of running a successful pub. It’s with great pleasure that we congratulate our 2018 winners:

Cellar Management – John and Lisa Gregory, The Ship Inn, Retford

Mystery Visitor – Joanne McPhee and Christos Papadopoulos, The Plough, Nettleham

Digital Marketing – Malcolm and Diane Gray, The Butcher and Beast, Heighington

Charity Pub of the Year – Paddy Melaugh and Richard Mumford, The Kings Arms, Boston

Floral Display of the Year, Urban – John and Lisa Gregory, The Ship Inn, Retford

Floral Display of the Year, Rural – Malcolm and Diane Gray, The Butcher and Beast, Heighington

Publican of the Year – John and Lisa Gregory, The Ship Inn, Retford

Of course, we would also like to recognise and commend all the runners up, third placed and highly commended achievers, too. Many thanks and congratulations to you all.

Chris Jones, Profit Partnerships Manager, commented, “It’s always such a pleasure to be able to recognise the great work our licensees do. The day was great fun, but what made it special for me was seeing business owners representing every county we operate in taking the opportunity to get to know fellow business owners. It was great to see so many make an effort – it really felt like a family occasion.”
