Plough Inn Gets Top Award at Annual Rewarding Success Lunch

Batemans annual Rewarding Success Awards recognise the hard work, dedication and commitment of the people who run Batemans pubs. Framed certificates, trophies & hampers are on offer in nine categories, from Cellar Management to Publican of the Year. Whilst the awards are open to all Batemans business owners, only the very best make it to the podium.

The 2020 Rewarding Success Luncheon was held in February at the Brewery Visitors Centre in Wainfleet.  The prestigious event was attended by over 60 of the most committed Batemans business owners, as well as brewery suppliers and members of the key brewery support team.

Plough at Nettleham Scoops Top Award

Top spot in 2020 was claimed by Joanne MacPhee and Christos Papadopoulos of the Plough Inn, Nettleham, who won ‘Batemans Pub of the Year’ in recognition of five years of hard work and exceptional endeavour, that took their pub from 175 to over 500 brls pa.

Joanne Said, ‘Christos & I are delighted that the time and effort that we’ve put into turning the Plough into the business it’s become today has been recognised.  We’re grateful for the support Batemans has shown us and we’re looking forward to being back here next year.’
