Centenary Gin with Batemans XXXB Hops

Special edition gin unveiled at centenary celebration

As part of the J.E. Ridlington 1918-2018 centenary celebrations, we entered into a unique collaboration with the local Lincolnshire craft gin distiller, Bottomley’s, to produce a special anniversary bottle, called Centenary Gin – aptly named given the 100th Anniversary of Ridlingtons and the 40th Anniversary of XXXB. Infused with Golding Hops, which are used in the brewing of Batemans classic ale XXXB, the special edition will only be available through Batemans.

Unveiled and sampled by those attending the centenary celebrations at the Brewery in September, the Centenary Gin received tremendous feedback. Customers commented that not only was it a fantastic innovative drink, but that it was great to see local companies working together.

Our Centenary Gin has a citrus flavour to start, with a spicy undertone from the Triple XB hops. This juniper-led classic has a peppery back note that comes from the Goldings. With a long citrus finish, this is, in our opinion, the perfect G&T!
