Brewery Tours at Batemans
Brewery tours take place around the Victorian brewhouse and 'The Theatre of Beers'. No booking is necessary and all tours are conducted by an experienced and entertaining guide.
The tour, which takes you around the Victorian brewhouse, features brass and copper equipment, much of which is more than a century old. A real working museum, the Victorian brewhouse works in conjunction with a state of the art brewhouse, which was opened in 2002 by the renowned international beer writer, Roger Protz.
Evening tours can be booked for any night of the week and provide you with full access to all our facilities including pub games, the Windmill Shop, Brewery Experience, Mill Bar, Patricia Room and the Artefacts Room. For our more competitive of guests, games, competitions and quizzes, with limited edition prizes, can be arranged.
Evening tours include a delicious Lincolnshire supper and samples from the well stocked bar, which features many beers, lagers and wines from around the world. During the warmer months of Summer, a barbeque can be organised if requested.
Evening tours must be pre-booked and should ideally be arranged for groups (minimum group size 12). Smaller groups can be accommodated and can join larger parties. The tour usually starts at 7pm and the whole event at 10pm, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a couple of pints in Wainfleet if you so desire.
Weekend tours must also be pre-booked. They include bed and breakfast in one of Batemans local pubs, all Visitors Centre facilities, a brewery tour, four samples and a delightful brewery lunch.
Further accommodation can be arranged for those wishing to extend their visit. It is preferred that groups are of between 12 and 30 however, individuals or smaller groups may be able to join larger parties.

We are closed from Christmas Day to the 31st January.
Please note we are also closed every Monday and Tuesday except Bank Holiday Mondays.
