The Bay Horse is a community pub located close to the city centre of Hull, a bit off the beaten track but worth seeking out.
There are always two real ales to enjoy in a friendly environment. It also offers traditional bar games including pool and darts. Sky Sport is also shown.
For rugby fans there is a extensive array of rugby memorabilia.
It is particularly famous for its hearty Sunday lunches.
There is an open Microphone Night every other Friday called ‘Fireside Friday’ where entertainers from all over the country come to amuse the guests.

The 'Nap' as it is fondly known, has new hosts and a refurbishment.
Kelly and Tom are looking forward to welcoming both existing and new customers.
The pub is increasing its activities; at the moment, there is poker on a Monday from 8pm and free pool every Wednesday. The pub continues to have pool, poker and football teams – new players are always welcome.
All live sport and premiership football is being shown.
In the near future there will be a Lounge Lizard, Wii Sports, Karaoke and live entertainment. Information on the entertainment will be on Batemans Brewery facebook and on the web's events calendar.
Bar snacks are on offer during opening hours.

The Palmerston Arms is a haven for real ale drinkers offering up to 14 real ales all served direct from the cask.
This unique pub offers a whole new experience where drinkers can see all the beers racked in the cellar through the large cellar viewing window located at the back of the bar. Simply order your beer and watch the staff dispense your drink direct from the cask.
